When You Just Want a Peek at Your Email
By Dave Peterson | September 12, 2008

I love my iPhone because it’s the best version of a carry-everywhere computer that I’ve ever found. But not everyone needs a top-notch web browser nor the ever-growing list of software choices available from the App Store. Some people would just like to be able to check their email when they’re out and about. For them there’s the new Peek device.
The Peek is built solely around the concept of reading and writing email. It provides a color 2.5 inch screen and it plays to the non-technical crowd, with the phrase, “anti-geeks unite!” Certainly, for people who feel the iPhone lacks serious functionality, the Peek won’t even be on their radar. Simplicity is what this little gadget is all about. The pricing is simple, too. The Peek sells for $99.95 and monthly service is $19.95 with no on-going contract.
Peek is available now through the company website, and will be available at Target stores beginning September 14.
